Alliance, NE: Highland Park Host City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt
Hundreds of local children recently descended upon Highland Park for the annual city-wide Easter egg extravaganza. Through a cooperative effort of our community and the Alliance Chamber of Commerce, an almost uncountable quantity of plastic eggs were dispersed among the Highland Park grounds. Children ages 1-9 were welcomed to begin after the siren start and collect all the eggs in hopes of discovering candy and certificates for other prizes. A majority of our residents took advantage of the glorious weather and sat along the sidelines to witness the multi-generational family fun.
Two Easter bunnies were on hand to interact with the crowd and be available for pictures. This was the second consecutive year for Highland Park to host the event and we look forward to participating again next Easter.
