Elkhorn, NE: Special Taping Of A Merrymaker Event At Brookestone Meadows

Guests      JRay and John K

Since our opening seven years ago, the Merrymakers have been a part of providing “Quality Life” and fun through their professional performances for our residents and patients. A Merrymaker event is always well attended and enjoyed by all who even pass by!

This week we were honored to host a special taping of one of the Merrymakers, Johnny Ray Gomez, for a segment to be aired on WOWT Channel six in the coming weeks. The segment is called “Knicely Done” and is a recorded by WOWT anchor and journalist, John Knicely, for whom the segment is named. John and his photojournalist Roger were here for over an hour as they recorded footage for the segment.

The music of Johnny Ray Gomez just gets everyone tapping, clapping and sometimes-dancing! All of this and more was captured in footage for this segment. A few residents were also interviewed as they enjoyed this wonderful event. One thing is for sure, the impact that the Merrymakers have on “Quality Life” for those we serve is incredible and incalculable. We thank them for their compassionate service to our seniors and congratulate them on being chosen for this special segment of “Knicely Done”.

We would also like to thank John Knicely for his work on providing stories in our community and region that are so encouraging, professional and uplifting. We feel confident that this story and the content will help people understand that Brookestone Meadows, being a part of the Vetter Health Services family, is truly helping to “Change the View” of long term care with their wonderful partners such as the Merrymaker organization, and that the segment will be “Knicely Done”! Thanks so much John.
