VHS Team Facilitates Alzheimer’s Training for Nebraska Healthcare Association

Cameo Rogers, Life Enrichment Coordinator for Vetter Health Services is also an instructor for National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners or NCCDP.

Cameo presented the NCCDP Alzheimer’s and Dementia Seminar curriculum for the Nebraska Healthcare Association in Kearney, NE on October 14 and 15, 2014. A group of VHS team members were in attendance for the 2 day session that included content on causes of dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, approach, communication, and engagement techniques.

We are grateful for the Nebraska Healthcare Association offering continuing education on such an important topic and are honored that VHS can assist in promoting best practices.
