Elkhorn, NE: Vetter Health Services hosts Nebraska Health Care Association Team
What better way to have a luncheon-tailgate party with individuals that help our profession “Change the View of long term care?”
On a recent Friday lunch the Home Office was honored to host the team members and President, Health Boddy, of the Nebraska Health Care Association. This association, (with varies services provided by six organizations found within its core), is Nebraska’s premiere source of information on a range of health-related professions and consumer services, including long term care. All of its entities are united in their mission – to serve Nebraskans.
Through this team, health care professionals, including medication aides and nursing assistants, find information to advance their education, career and knowledge to provide quality care. Policymakers use their knowledge and advocacy to become informed in their service to constituents. Consumers find resources for their health care or the care of a loved one. Donors have an avenue to support causes they believe in.
States VHS President, Glenn Van Ekeren, “being able to visit and fellowship with the individuals who are instrumental in supporting our profession in so many ways, is truly a wonderful relational experience. We visit with them on the phone, but being able to host them here, and enjoy a meal with all of us helps deepen that relationship. We thank them all for taking their valuable time to share a luncheon with us.”
