Ruth      Family      3 Genrations

Yesterday, Ruth McKee, turned 104 years old! Ruth was surrounded by her loved ones. Three of Ruth’s four children were able to make it in. Dean, Fred and Alatia McKee were at their mother’s side for photos, lunch and celebrations.
Additionally, Ruth’s grand-daughter, Michelle, and her husband flew in from Texas to recognize this special day.

Ruth received a letter from Governor Matt Meade recognizing her status as one of the few centenarians in Wyoming. Ruth celebrated with all of the residents and her family, who joined her for lunch in the dining room with cake and ice cream to follow.

Ruth was raised in Rushville, Nebraska and went on to teach school in Hay Springs, Nebraska. Ruth taught piano and she still plays her piano in her room from time to time.
