Elkhorn NE: Nepal Earthquake – The Vetter Foundation responds
Our prayers and compassion are great for the people in Nepal. We are simply am unable to comprehend this kind of devastation in one city, one area and the surrounding communities.
Vetter Foundation was ready to respond – another great example of being prepared with benevolent funds. It is so awesome to have communication come in immediately after the earthquake hit with Jack Vetter and Glenn VanEkeren offering to send Convoy of Hope $12,000 or 2 semi-truck loads of first response needs to those in Nepal. Even though this is a significant amount of money, it is a dent in the response to an earthquake of this magnitude. However, each response makes a huge difference to each person suffering there.
Jeff Swaim, Convoy of Hope Executive Director – Church relations writes, “Thank you so much. Pray for the team as they deal with this one.” The work they do on the ground is impactful in what they see and encounter.
We would encourage you to practice praying for the people of Nepal each time you think of them or hear an updated news cast. Together, our financial and spiritual support have impact.
