VSL Elevates Dining Experience with addition of Scott Wiese

Vetter Senior Living welcomes Scott Wiese as Director of Culinary Experiences. In his role, Scott will work with communities to enhance the culinary experience for the residents they serve.

Scott has more than 30 years of experience in culinary arts and hospitality. A Nebraska native, Scott grew up in a small rural community before attending culinary school in Vermont. His career later took him to Colorado and San Francisco, where he worked in a variety of restaurant and private dining settings before returning to the Midwest and finding a home in senior living.

Throughout his career, Scott has developed a skill for creating meaningful dining experiences, building strong teams, and helping hospitality professionals do their best work. He is especially drawn to senior living because of the opportunity to combine culinary excellence with service, connection, dignity, and care.
