Vetter Senior Living recognized by FORTUNE as a Best Workplace for Aging Services
Vetter Senior Living has once again been recognized by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE as one of the 2021Best Workplaces for Aging Services!
The Great Place to Work® Institute surveyed more than 220,000 Senior Care employees from across the nation to create the fourth annual Best Workplaces in Aging Services List. Vetter Senior Living is ranked #16 on the list.
According to the 2021 survey, 81% of Vetter Senior Living team members say their work has special meaning, that it’s not “just a job” and 87% feel a sense of pride in the work they accomplish serving seniors.
“The global pandemic has presented challenges for everyone, especially those who work in senior care,” said Glenn Van Ekeren, President at Vetter Senior Living. “We’ve worked hard to ensure that our residents and their families feel safe, valued, and cared for, and a large part of that has been the unwavering compassion and dedication of our team members. Without their skills and incredible empathy, we would not have earned this recognition.”
Vetter Senior Living provides services and living options for rehabilitation, independent and assisted living, and skilled nursing. More than 3,300 team members serve the elderly in thirty-three locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Wyoming.
The Best Workplaces for Aging Services is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations.
Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical relative to their peers in the industry.
