Springfield, MO: Watch Me Paint

Barbara Ashlock is new to the Creekside Campus but one thing that is not new to her is painting. She has studied under several nationally known artists. Barbara lived in Texas and spent many years teaching classes on oil and acrylic painting. She also conducted traveling seminars. Barbara enjoys teaching art she says that, “I love people and teaching, they go so naturally together. I thank God each day of the opportunity to do not only what I love to do but to serve others. Barbara’s work has been shown I the Museum at the School of the Ozarks, Branson, Missouri.

Her work also resides in private, corporate and military collections in Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York and Texas. Landscapes are her favorite things to paint but her subject matter is diverse. She recently treated our ladies group to a painting demonstration at the Clubhouse. After she finished the piece of art it was giving away in a drawing to one of the community members in attendance!
