Springfield, MO: March Into Art

Art Show      Creating 2

Creekside Community Members are thrilled to have the opportunity to attend a 4 week art course on our Campus to be taught on Monday afternoons by Meganne Reilly O’Neal. Meganne is a painter with pieces in homes across the United States. She teaches Fiber Arts at Missouri State University, is a board member of the Springfield Regional Arts Council and is chairman of the Visual Arts Committee.

The first class was learning to paint a still life with water color. She brought along three different forms of water colors; paste, crayon and standard paint trays. Everyone had fun experimenting with the different kinds which of course all required water. Several masterpieces were created and everyone is excited for her to return next week!
