Springfield, MO and Lincoln, NE: Creekside at Elfindale and Sumner Place Win HealthCaps Photo Contest

For the past six years HealthCap has provided an opportunity for long term care communities to enter into a photo contest. This contest consists of three categories Buildings and Grounds, Residents and Families, and Caregivers. Creekside at Elfindale in Springfield, Missouri, and Sumner Place in Lincoln, NE entered several photos that showcased quality of life, quality care, and outstanding facilities.

Vetter Health Services is pleased to announce that this year Creekside at Elfindale and Sumner Place were awarded the first place prizes of $1,000 with their respective photos that was submitted under the Buildings and Grounds category and Residents and Families.

Creekside plans to use their money to host a week long camp on their campus for our adopted school Portland Elementary. A few of their retired teachers will be assisting them in the fields of wildlife, plants, and hands on constructing and painting of birdhouses for the students. Sumner Place plans on utilizing their prize for creating and improving strength based stations for their residents.
