Elkhorn, NE: Frogs, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails…that’s what little boys are made of.

It was a “PAW”ty featuring tiny yawns and sleepy sighs, gifted nursery rhymes and lullabies.

The VHS Home Office Team provided new Mommy and Daddy, Matt and Lisa Marquardt, a Vetter family fun baby Shower for the honored guest…little Caleb Thomas Marquardt. Fur-sisters, (Doggie Children), Gizmo and Oakie had to stay home and keep the house safe – they’re still wondering if they have to share “their” toys, or if they get to check out all of Caleb’s new stuff!

Following a “dog gone great” theme, the tables where decorated with puppy paw prints, and snuggly stuffed dogs. Many of the thoughtful gifts centered around Caleb’s, (and Mom & Dad’s) love of dogs.
Plenty of clothing to go around, essentials for eating now and as Caleb grows, as well as one of the most unique basket of gifts from Facility Development. Each of the Facility Development team members handpicked a favorite childhood hard covered book to gift Caleb with. A special treat, while the baby shower was going on, was a photo album from Matt’s youth that got passed around for everyone to see.

After enjoying lunch, and being cradled by many of the Home Office welcoming arms, Caleb was ready for a nap, and a ride home. Blessings from the Vetter Health Services Home Office family to Matt, Lisa & Caleb!
