The American Advertising Federation of the Ozarks Presents a Gold ADDY® Award to The Vetter Foundation & Jackson+Appleton for The Vetter Foundation Video

PictureElkhorn, NE: The Vetter Foundation & Jackson+Appleton were recognized and awarded with a Gold ADDY® at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of the local Ozarks ADDY® competition on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Diamond Room in Springfield, MO for their entry of The Vetter Foundation video. The Vetter Foundation video was recognized for the Public Service, audio/visual category. A Gold ADDY® is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. This annual dinner and awards presentation was attended by over 200 individuals of the local advertising and media businesses. There were 38 Gold ADDY® Awards and 154 Silver ADDY® Awards presented. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy.

The Vetter Foundation video tells the story of how the Foundation was formed in 1992 by the owners of Vetter Health Services, Jack and Eldora Vetter, as a way to impact people’s lives locally, nationally and around the world. While Vetter Health Services is known throughout the healthcare industry for providing quality care and quality of life to their residents, The Vetter Foundation extends those principles globally—to people of all ages—through supporting worldwide missions work. In the United States, The Vetter Foundation also sponsors educational opportunities that impact not only their team members, but the healthcare industry as a whole.

The video features narration by owners Jack and Eldora Vetter, and President Glenn Van Ekeren of Vetter Health Services. Credits for the production of the video went to DaNita Naimoli of Vetter Health Services and the Jackson+Appleton production team. The ADDY® Awards are conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The local ADDY® Awards are the first of a three-tier national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. Entry in your local ADDY® competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY®. At the second tier, the local winners then compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions. The Vetter Foundation video will be competing against other ADDY Award recipients from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri. As a local Gold ADDY® award winner, The Vetter Foundation video will now move onto the AAF ADDY® District Competition. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY® Awards competition.

The ADDY® Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY® competitions. The mission of the ADDY® competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

The local ADDY® Awards competition is sponsored by each local chapter, a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals. Proceeds from the ADDY® Awards help support the club’s educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts.
