Alliance, NE: Shining Examples of the Value of Excellence
Highland Park Care Center is proud to announce three recipients of Vetter Health Services $1,000 scholarships as chosen by the VHS Academic Committee for Excellence. The team members were selected from a vast number of quality applications across the entire VHS organization and were honored at a recent All-Staff meeting. Social Services Coordinator, Mandy Culla, was given the privilege of presenting the awards.
The diversity of recipients is evident by the range of experience represented by these fine women. The newest nursing student, Shelbie Bolinger, who is branching out from her current position in the dietary department, has decided to pursue nursing and will bring her talents to a new facet of our community. Bailey Smith is continuing down her nursing path and plans to work toward an RN status. The most experienced recipient, Nancy Solberg, is also working toward her degree in RN and will undoubtedly offer well-earned charge nurse wisdom as she obtains her goal.
Through their continued efforts to help people strive to grow both professionally and personally, VHS awards similar scholarships annually to applicants who demonstrate their willingness and ability to develop their personal strengths and remain committed to becoming the Best of the Best.
