Alliance, NE: One Year Injury Free: Our Commitment to Safety

Team Safe      Plaque

It wasn’t the first time it happened at Highland Park, but the feat could be likened to winning back-to-back world titles in any sport.  Without a total team commitment and solid, unwavering leadership, attaining an injury free status would be very difficult.

The following home office press release sums up our accomplishment…

Vetter Health Services is deeply committed to the safety of our teams and residents. As part of our injury prevention efforts, we take time to recognize and celebrate with each Vetter Health Service facility that has attained “One Year — 365 days, 8,760 hours: Injury Free.” Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska, a Vetter Health Service facility, recently attained this wonderful achievement. A celebration to honor Highland Park Care Center was held on Wednesday, February 4th. This celebration included a steak and chicken bar-be-que hosted by Vetter Health Services.

The party kicked off with a plaque presentation, presented by CEO and Owner Jack Vetter to commemorate the achievement and all team members were awarded pins for their personal commitment to the goal and for their daily efforts to keep themselves and their teammates free from injury. Vetter Health Services recognizes that laboring for one year without injury is a significant achievement. It takes great teamwork and allows us to continue to provide the world-class resident care for which are facilities are known.
